Meet-the-Attorney

MEET YOUR ATTORNEY

I carry the strength and resilience of my community with me.

Growing up, my parents taught me the importance of love, loyalty, and resilience. They showed me that we rise stronger in the face of adversity, and that’s exactly what I bring to the legal realm.

As a Latina, I understand the unique challenges faced by underrepresented communities. I am the product of their struggles and their hopes, and I carry their stories with me into the courtroom.

I’ve seen too many instances where systems have tried to take advantage of minorities and working-class people. As long as I’m practicing, I will do everything in my power to stand up for my community. I’m ready to do the hard things, confront the uncomfortable truths, and challenge the status quo.

To my clients, know that I am your fiercest advocate. I will not back down, and I will not be silenced.

If you’re looking for more than a lawyer who will go to battle for you, here I am.

How much are your consults?

Personal Injury, estate planning and probate consults are always free!

For Personal Injury, we take cases all over the State of Texas.

For our personal injury clients, there is no fee unless we win – we work off a contingency basis.

For our estate planning/probate cases, yes, we do offer payment plans. The payment plan is specialized to each person and can be discussed in more detail during your initial consultation.

Personal injury lawyers tend to work on contingency. You will enter into a “contingency fee agreement” with your lawyer which means your attorney will be a paid a percentage of what you receive. Your Attorney will not get paid if you do not win.

Personal Injury: If you have been injured by the fault of another, you should seek legal representation. A personal injury lawyer will know your rights under the law and can help you receive the compensation you deserve.

Probate is the legal process that takes place after someone dies.

If the decedent has a legal will in place, the probate court will verify the document to ensure the decedent’s wishes are followed.

If the decedent did not have a will, the State of Texas controls the distribution of assets.

It is a common misconception that wills and estate planning are only needed for older people, the wealthy or those in poor health.

A will can provide the following:

  • Distribution of personal property, real estate property, money and other assets
  • Appointment of a guardian to your minor children in the event of death
  • Designation of an executor responsible for carrying out your wishes, paying off any debt or taxes, managing your assets until they have been distributed and dealing with probate court proceedings.
